Customer Service Frequently Asked Questions at Nationwide Vision

How Much Does an Eye Exam at Nationwide Vision Cost?

The cost of an eye exam at Nationwide Vision can vary depending on your specific vision health needs. Getting glasses or contacts can add additional costs to your total bill. Similarly, certain eye conditions requiring more specialized treatment can increase the cost of an exam. The type of insurance you have and whether Nationwide Vision is in or out of network also changes how much you owe at the end of your appointment.

In essence, it’s hard to say how much your specific eye exam will cost because it depends largely on your individual needs. We may however be able to provide an estimate!

For more information about eye exam costs, please call your preferred Nationwide Vision office to discuss your specific eye care needs.

What is Nationwide Vision’s Late Policy?

At Nationwide Vision, we’re committed to providing the best eye care experience possible to all our patients. To do this, all of our doctors, technicians and staff attempt to make each appointment efficient and productive. If a patient is more than 15 minutes late for their scheduled appointment, they may be asked to reschedule. Generally, we request that all new patients arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment, and all returning patients arrive 10 minutes prior. This ensures each patient has enough time to complete paperwork and update insurance or payment information.

If you are running late and know you won’t be able to make your eye care appointment within 15 minutes of its start time, please notify your Nationwide Vision office.

I Need to Reschedule My Appointment. Can I Do That?

Absolutely! We understand things come up from time to time. If you know you will be unable to make your scheduled appointment, we ask that you notify us within 24 hours of your appointment time. If a same-day reschedule is required, we will work with you to find the next available appointment to fit your schedule. Please call your Nationwide Vision office to do so.

Does Nationwide Vision Offer Same-Day Eyeglasses?

At this time, we do not offer same-day eyeglasses. Nationwide Vision locations use a state-of-the-art optical lab to ensure lenses are crafted specifically to meet your needs. While this produces better quality vision correction solutions, it takes more time. Depending on the strength of your prescription and any selected optical add-ons (anti-glare, transition lenses, etc.), your glasses can take up to 10 business days to craft. It’s more than worth the wait!

What is Nationwide Vision’s Eyeglass Frame Return Policy?

Nationwide Vision is dedicated to helping you find the right pair of glasses that fits your lifestyle perfectly. Each of our locations has a state-of-the-art optical lab to ensure you always get lenses that best meet your needs. That being said, we know things don’t always work out according to plan. If you aren’t satisfied with your eyeglasses, please come see us again. Our staff is committed to helping you find frames that are a better fit for you.
